The founder of MADU SAMAWA recognized the promising market potential for apiary products, particularly pure honey. Starting out with simple word-of-mouth marketing, the company gradually gained recognition among the public. Its pure honey is sourced directly from forest honey collectors and authentic honey farmers. In that same year, the founder introduced the product under the name Madu Hutan Samawa.
IN 2011
Madu Hutan Samawa changed its name to MADU SAMAWA and officially established UD MADU SAMAWA. This company empowers Sumbawa’s forest honey collectors. MADU SAMAWA obtained several important certifications, including a Home Industry Food Production Permit (PIRT) from the Sumbawa District Health Office, a HACCP certification, and a Food Safety Counseling Certificate.
IN 2012
Madu Hutan Sumbawa – MADU SAMAWA obtained another P-IRT certification from the Sumbawa Health Office, a Food Safety Counseling Certificate, a Company Registration Certificate (TDP), and a Trading Business License (SIUP).
IN 2013
Our company had the opportunity to market its products to Malaysia and Thailand through events organized by the Directorate General of National Export Development (DJEN) and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, expanding its market reach abroad.
IN 2014
MADU SAMAWA received Halal certification from the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) under the Halal Label No. 07120031741215. This certification provides consumers with confidence that the product they consume is free from any non-halal elements. For the producer, the halal label builds trust and customer loyalty toward Sumbawa’s forest honey products.
IN 2015
With the rapid growth of MADU SAMAWA, numerous positive testimonials from customers, and an expanding distribution network, this apiary company now boasts a broad market segment. It has also diversified into beekeeping, forest honey collection, and herbal honey production. The company has acquired several training certificates from the Industry and Trade Department (DISPERINDAG), including a certificate on “Standards for Food and Beverage Packaging for Export.”
FROM 2016 TO 2018
MADU SAMAWA continued to maintain quality and increase production volume. The company strives to provide the best services and rigorously ensures hygiene from the harvesting process to packaging, adhering to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards. Additionally, it implements precise methods in Quality Control and Quality Assurance.

With growing consumer loyalty and an expanding distribution network, the company formalized its status under the name CV MADU SAMAWA.
